Senior Lecturer

I am a Senior Lecturer in HR and Organisation Behaviour at the School of Business, University of New South Wales Canberra. As on organisational behaviour researcher, I have a growing reputation for excellent research in the areas of work-related intimate partner aggression, leadership, and the vocational experiences of vulnerable workers. Since formally entering academia in 2018, my research has been published in top management journals including Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Vocational Behavior, The Leadership Quarterly, and Journal of Career Assessment.

Before entering academia, I amassed more than 20 years of industry experience in educational administration, teaching, and research. I served in a variety of leadership roles in higher education including posts in research management, admissions services, faculty development, and inclusion services. I possess strong innovative spirit and have initiated unique approaches to educational delivery and management founded on evidence-based practices. I was also a recipient of the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) grant awarded by the United States of America with special focus on inclusive higher education. I served as board member and adviser for public and private organisations with special interest in inclusive higher education, learner-centered practices, and restorative justice in schools. I hold two PhDs including one in business (The Australian National University) and another in education (De La Salle University Manila). 

  • 2022: Competitive paper development workshop for the Journal of Applied Psychology (ABDC: A*) for a scale development paper on micromanagement. 
  • 2019: Maestro Award in Education from Grace Christian College. Equivalent to an honorary doctorate, this is awarded to distinctive alumni who excelled in their career. 
  • 2018: Higher Degree Research Merit Scholarship and Postgraduate Research Scholarship. Competitive PhD selection process at The Australian National University.
  • 2017: International Visitors Leadership Program scholar. The IVLP program is the U.S. Department of State’s premier professional exchange program for emerging leaders in various fields. I was awarded the program under the theme of "Inclusive Higher Education". 
  • 2022: A Rapid Review of Sexual Harassment in the World of Work in Australia funded by Respect Victoria.
  • 2017: International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on Inclusive Higher Education funded by the United States of America Department of State Cultural Affairs Program.
