Welcome to the UNSW Canberra School of Business

The School of Business is a supportive, stimulating and friendly environment where undergraduate, postgraduate and research students explore the forces shaping modern organisations, economies and governments. Our focus is to create better understandings of how to work within them as managers, and how to lead the way for change.  

The UNSW Canberra School of Business, together with the UNSW Business School at UNSW Sydney is an accredited member of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. 

Our mission is to create and disseminate applied business knowledge for the benefit of students, organisations and society. The UNSW Canberra School of Business develops leadership capabilities for Defence, the public sector, business, academia and the not-for-profit sector, with the capacity to succeed globally.  

Our vision is to be recognised as a leading research-intensive business school renowned for its students and staff, teaching quality, relevance and innovation. 

Our Research

Our interdisciplinary research approach is essential for the study of business issues in a changing and uncertain world.  

It draws together the diverse backgrounds of our academics, many of whom have achieved international recognition for their research in economics, logistics, law, accountancy, finance, leadership, data analysis, human resources and project management. Their expertise informs our research areas: Public Service Management, Sustainment & Network Collaboration, Diversity, Korean Studies, and Industrial Relations.
