Biographical Note

Poet Ian C. Birks (later Biarujia) was born in Brisbane in 1953 and published his first poem in LiNQ in 1974. In 1982 he published Red tide : poetry and in 1988 Labassa. Birks has an association with Labassa in Victoria, including writing for The Carrionflower writ and editing for small press Nosukumo
