Master of Sustainment Management

Maintaining the Technological Advantage of Military Systems

Modern military technology and systems are required to stay at the cutting edge of performance yet serve for increasingly longer life spans. The key to achieving successful sustainment outcomes relies on linking sustainment strategy, operations, and execution to meet performance requirements. Having an effective sustainment plan is crucial in ensuring that the technology and systems developed provide long-term benefits over the course of their life cycle.

The Master of Sustainment Management at UNSW Canberra provides students with an opportunity to develop a detailed understanding of the managerial and technical skills and expertise relevant to planning, acquisition and sustainment of complex technology and systems over their life cycles. You will also develop ability to procure capability according to organisational strategy and to develop appropriate implementation and sustainable plans.

The degree is offered by the UNSW Canberra School of Business in conjunction with the School of Engineering and Information Technology. The School of Business is an accredited member of The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International. Only 5% of university business programs worldwide are AACSB accredited.
